INTERVIEW PROCESS
The number and order of rounds can vary by team, level, and location. Use this as a preparation map, not a guarantee.
How to prepare: A 95-minute test with 7 sections: puzzles, pseudocode-based logical output questions, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, grammar, and a short essay. Performance here determines which track (Systems Engineer, Digital Specialist Engineer, or Specialist Programmer) a candidate is considered for.
How to prepare: For the higher Digital Specialist Engineer and Specialist Programmer tracks, a dedicated 3-hour proctored round with 3 coding problems (Easy, Medium, Hard) spanning arrays, dynamic programming, and graph problems. Solving 2 or more well often clears the bar for Specialist Programmer.
How to prepare: A 30-45 minute round reviewing the logic from the coding round plus CS fundamentals: OOP, DBMS, operating systems, and networking, along with an in-depth discussion of resume projects.
How to prepare: A 15-30 minute closing round covering self-introduction, motivation for joining Infosys, a 5-year career plan, and willingness to relocate to the assigned location, typically evaluated using the STAR method.
